Take the opportunity to visit Kakadu National Park during a stay at Bamurru Plains.
Kakadu is a living cultural landscape and has been home to Aboriginal people for more than 65,000 years. Experience the exquisite rock art, with some of the earliest pieces of rock art in Kakadu dating back 20,000 years.
The day’s experience will include a walk to Ubirr – one of Kakadu’s most renowned locations for its rock art. The walk passes several breathtaking Aboriginal art sites and leads up to a stunning lookout over the Nadab floodplain.
Guluyambi Cultural Cruise is a unique boat tour on Kakadu’s scenically spectacular East Alligator River. An Aboriginal guide provides insight into their culture, local mythology, the river’s abundant food chain, traditional uses for many plants and animals as well as bush survival skills while leisurely cruising upstream and spotting crocodiles on the river banks.
A full day experience, including:
- Travel to Kakadu via a scenic charter flight from Bamurru Plains, including a 30-minute scenic loop over Kakadu National Park
- Return by direct charter flight to Bamurru Plains
- Kakadu National Park entry fee
- Guluyambi cruise on the East Alligator River
- Aboriginal rock art experience at Ubirr & Nadab floodplain
- A visit to Bowali Visitor Centre in Jabiru, an interpretative spot that shares information about the landscapes and wildlife of Kakadu

Kakadu National Park & Arnhem Land
Fly over the wetlands of Kakadu and Arnhem Land, landing at a remote rock art site to marvel at the beauty of the artworks, along with fly-over the spectacular Magela Falls. The last stop is at Jabiru – the main township of Kakadu National Park – before returning to Bamurru Plains. Duration 3.5 hours.
Art and Waterfalls: experience Kakadu and Arnhem Land
An extension of the above experience, including further flying time to take in the beauty and waterfalls of Kakadu National Park and Arnhem Land. Enjoy an extended flight over Kakadu escarpment, Jim Jim Falls, Twins Falls gorge and Yellow Water billabong. Duration 6.5 hours.
