Telephone calls, helicopter flights, transfers (unless part of package), scenic flights, day trips to Kakadu and/or Arnhem Land.

Air Charters

During the wet season (March and into April) we recommend some buffer in your itinerary in case of inclement weather and delays to flights. We will be happy to offer advice. There is a general weight restriction of 15 kgs per passenger in soft bags only to fit in the aircraft luggage compartments.

It will be possible to keep excess bags at the air operator’s office in Darwin. Although all care is taken, Bamurru Plains does not accept responsibility for any expense incurred by a passenger as a result of any delay, alteration or mechanical failure with a charter aircraft.

Travel Insurance

Unforeseen circumstances may result in you having to change your plans or even cancel at the last moment. To protect non-refundable deposits and payments we STRONGLY recommend that all guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance that includes cancellation and emergency medical care cover.

Please be sure to consider such things as pre-existing medical conditions, valuable items and that the policy is right for you.

Force Majeure

‘Force Majeure’ means (without restriction) any event which Bamurru Plains could not, even with due care, foresee or avoid. Force Majeure covers events such as, but not limited to, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events beyond our control. In the case of Force Majeure Cavendra Pty Ltd will not accept liability, and reserves the right to change and cancel trips.

Check In & Check Out

On safari we recommend:

Check-in is available from 14:00 and check-out is required by 11:00.

If you would like to secure late check-out, there will be an additional charge of 75% of one night’s accommodation subject to availability. Please note that the latest check-out time is dependent on sunset within flying curfews.

Third Party Arrangements

If you have booked some of your flights directly with the airline or travel agency, please be sure to advise us of any flight changes (timings, numbers etc.) and please be sure to check that your final itinerary has the details correctly noted.

Wild Bush Luxury and Bamurru Plains will not be responsible for transfers, accommodation, tour planning or for any travel arrangements that are effected by flights not booked and ticketed by our office. Wild Bush Luxury and Bamurru Plains will not take responsibility for any third party services which are delayed due to reasons beyond our control.

Child policy

The lodge is not suitable for children under 8 years of age. This is partly acknowledging the small size of the lodge; additionally there are several safety considerations.

If the lodge is booked exclusively and suitable supervision is arranged then children of any age will be permitted.

Please note there are no child minding facilities available at Bamurru Plains.  All guests dine together.
