Getting to Bamurru Plains

Bamurru Plains is just three hours’ drive from Darwin, or take a scenic charter flight that only takes 30 minutes, and flies over some of the most spectacular wetlands in the world.

30 minute flight from Kakadu National Park.

By Road
3 hours drive from Darwin, 2 ½ hours from Jabiru (Kakadu National Park).

As the property is a working buffalo station, guests who are self driving are required to leave their vehicle safely inside the entrance to the property. From here you will be picked up by a safari guide for the 20 minute drive on to the lodge.

One way private scenic air transfer ex Darwin

Per single engine aircraft one way, up to 4 guests – $650
Per twin engine aircraft one way, up to 5 guests – $900
Per single engine turbo-prop aircraft one way, up to 13 guests – $2,300

NB: There is a luggage allowance of 15kgs per person in soft bags, any excess luggage can be stored free of charge for the duration of your stay.

All charter flights include a shared meet & greet service at Darwin. Domestic/International terminals with transfer to General Aviation area for air transfer connection (or vice versa) for 1-4 people in a single engine aircraft or 1-8 people in a twin engine aircraft.

$25 per person for guests 1-3 for a minimum charge of $75
$20 per person for 4 guests or more
