Top End Run-Off Tackle List

At Bamurru Plains we have professional fishing equipment available and rods and reels for anglers to use.  If any of our equipment is lost or damaged the angler is responsible for the repair or replacement of the item.

Our gear consists of top notch bait caster and spinning outfits.  Anglers are encouraged to bring their own outfit and we do not provide fly gear.

Catch 'n' Release

At Bamurru Plains we practice sustainable fishing and use lures, soft plastics and flies to target Barramundi, Huge Threadfin Salmon and the estuary mouths can also produce the occasional Black Jewfish.  The billabongs and floodplains offer excellent fishing for Saratoga and Tarpon in addition to Barramundi.

Although we do keep a fish or two for the dinner table we are committed to preserving this spectacular fishery so release most of our catch.
